If You Think Education Is Expensive…

I once saw a bumper sticker that said, “If you think education is expensive, try ignorance.”

Isn’t it interesting how much our lack of knowledge, or lack of the right resources, cost us in life?

Whether it’s not knowing something about accounting, or real estate, or business, or economics, or even not knowing the right people.

Many times having access to information, those around us who are educated, or even our own knowledge, makes all the difference.

Many times the struggles we face in business and in life — with our families, with our children, with our business operations, with our employer — can be mitigated by what and who we know.

If we had access to more information, more knowledge, it changes the game. So what’s my point with all of this? It is that we all develop a will to learn.

As we do so the value we can create for those around us will increase exponentially. We will be compensated one way or another for that value.

Many times that comes economically. Many times that comes with credibility and opening doors for us that otherwise would be closed.

But however the reward comes, when we will invest in ourselves, our education, and in our learning, it will always pay dividends.
